An Introduction to AgeTurners
Since eternity past, God has had one desire: to obtain a corporate expression of Himself in and through man. He works in time to accomplish His purpose by using different ages, or dispensations. Whenever man fails to accomplish His goal in that age, God must come in to turn the age and have a new beginning. But He does not do this alone. He purposely uses some young people who stand against the tide of the age to voluntarily consecrate themselves to Him and join themselves to His purpose.
God used a young Samuel to turn the age from the age of the priests to the age of the kings, thus establishing His rule and gaining a dwelling place among His people. Then, while God’s people were in captivity, He turned to a young man named Daniel. He and his three companions were an anti-testimony to the degraded and downward-sliding age, separated from the world, consecrated to God and completely one with His desire. Today, we are no longer in the age of spiritual giants. Our God needs a dispensational instrument, a group of people who will be a corporate Daniel to close this age and bring His kingdom to earth.
We are in the final age before the Lord’s return. The world is darker and more degraded than ever before, and the tide only continues to surge downward. God desperately needs some young people who will consecrate themselves absolutely to Him and to His purpose. To be those who can be used by God to turn the age, we cannot be passive. We must be vitally active, taking a stand against this evil age to flee youthful lusts and pursue the Lord day by day, both individually and corporately. Instead of merely trying to survive this evil age, we must take the offensive to turn the age by preaching the gospel and proclaiming our faith to all the nations. The Lord desires to increase His expression by propagating Himself all over the earth. To change the age and the culture, we must be those who live for and preach the gospel as an anti-testimony to Satan and his evil system and who move with the Lord for His spread. Daniel 11:32b says, “But the people who know their God will show strength and take action.” These are the age turners. Only when He gains such a group and such a testimony can He return and His goal finally be accomplished.
This website is for all of you who have the heart and the spirit to be this generation’s age turners, to stand against this age and join yourselves to the Lord to fulfill His purpose. We hope that all the resources on this site will help you pursue the Lord, mature in your Christian life and grow in your usefulness to the Lord. By gaining you, ultimately He can gain the people He needs to satisfy His heart’s desire.
