An Introduction to AgeTurners

Since eternity past, God has had one desire: to obtain a corporate expression of Himself in and through man. He works in time to accomplish His purpose by using different ages, or dispensations. Whenever man fails to accomplish His goal in that age, God must come in to turn the age and have a new beginning. Read More

Gas Station Salvation

Twice a year the students at UCI take the opportunity to visit various localities. This past trip was to Northern and Central California, mainly around the Bay Area and Fresno. What a privilege it was to blend with the young people, the college students, and all the saints in Santa Clara, San Jose, Pleasant Hill, Berkeley, San Francisco, Cupertino, and Fresno!

Operation Big Mountain

My university is a predominately Roman Catholic private university. I never thought that the Lord could use me or anyone else to move in this university. However, I was taken aback when what started as a Day of Spiritual Refreshment turned into a campus operation between three saints: an upper classman, my roommate, and me. On the Day of Spiritual Refreshment the Lord touched me at a meeting where the topic was to preach the gospel. At the end of the day, I took a stack of gospel tracts back to my dorm, because I wanted to slip them under the doors of my hallmates. This small start gave the upper classman, a brother named Phil, an idea. Phil contacted my roommate and I and said that he was going to order a case of 650 Bibles for America door hangers, because he felt that the students at Villanova really needed the Lord. When the door hangers came, we assembled all of them.

College Training: Seeing Christ Causes Us to Take a Different Way

"And after they heard the king, they went their way, and behold, the star which they saw at its rising led them until it came and stood over the place where the child was. And when they saw the star, they rejoiced exceedingly with great joy... And falling down, they worshipped Him; and opening their treasures, they offered gifts to Him, gold and frankincense and myrrh... And because they had been divinely instructed in a dream not to return to Herod, they departed by another way to their country."—Matthew 2:9-12

College Training: Christ Lives in Me

Praise the Lord for revealing so many aspects of Himself to us and in us at the college-aged training. I am beginning to realize that I have an exceedingly rich Father who wishes to dispense all that He has to me. Simply responding to His compelling love, trusting in Him who is faithful to work out all things, and presenting ourselves as open vessels make us glorious inheritors of the hearing of faith.

Spending Time with the Saints in Europe

In May 2009, the Lord granted the opportunity for a sister and me to travel to Europe. Our original plan was to visit a family, enjoy ourselves, and have a nice vacation. However, the Lord had other plans for us. We instead got knit and blended with the saints in Europe! I can truly say that spending time with the saints was the best part of our trip. We didn’t even have to be in a meeting or anything; just being with the saints such as eating dinner, talking with one another, or just even walking somewhere together was so sweet. The saints gladly opened their homes to us on short notice, provided us with food, and told us to help ourselves to anything. I felt so comfortable and right at home that many times I’d forget that I was in a foreign country. The saints usually weren’t able to show us around during the day because they had to work, so dinner was usually the time when we’d fellowship together. Even though the saints were tired from the day, they would still spend time with us whenever they could.

Attending the College Training as a Graduated Senior

The college training for me was the best possible way to start off my college years. Before going to the college training, one of my fears was that I would get lost in the world. I was scared that I would get too busy and that I would forget all about my spirit. But, by going to the college training, not only did I learn practical ways to enjoy the Lord at any moment, I also got the chance to interact with the brothers and sisters in my locality.

Travels to South Africa

I had the opportunity to go with my family to South Africa for two weeks in January 2009. The saints there do not get many visitors because it is not a place that you pass through, and it is expensive to get there. However, we decided it would be worth it to pay the price and go and be able to blend with the saints as well as see the beautiful country. We spent about six days in Pretoria. Our time there was so precious. Even though our trip was a family vacation, we split up and stayed with different saints.

Blending Trip to Europe

This past summer I got a great opportunity to go to Europe. Just me and another sister spent four weeks traveling around Europe taking in all the wonderful views, going to famous places, standing in long lines, eating lots of food, eating lots of chocolate, sitting on trains, running to catch trains, getting confused, WALKING, getting no sleep, and having the best, most precious time with the saints. To sum up this trip in a few words would be insane, perhaps even impossible. I don’t even know where to begin. It’s been two months since the trip and I think I’m still experiencing the affects it’s had on me. To be frank, when I initially started planning this trip I had no conscious decision or want to really see what was on the Lord’s heart concerning Europe.

College Training: Our Human Spirit, Companions, and Prayer

As the uniquely qualified ones to preach the gospel on the campuses, the college students must realize their top responsibility: to announce the good news to the seeking ones and bring them to the Lord. During this past college training, the speaking brothers commissioned the young people to release the gospel as a wildfire on their campuses, and challenged them to bear at least one remaining fruit this coming year.
